The 2022 cycling season has yet to start but the Minerva Cycling Team has already secured its starting rights in several races at home and abroad. Their season will also start soon since the team of sports director Preben Van Hecke will participate in the Challenge Mallorca of the UCI Europe Tour calendar from 26 to 30 January.

For the Minerva Cycling Team this participation is a baptism of fire because no less than nine World Tour teams, including Valverde's Movistar, Pogacar's UAE, ... will also be at the start of these five-day races. This Challenge Mallorca seamlessly connects to the training camp that the Minerva Cycling Team has planned on the Spanish island from January 20th. After the five races the team will stay in Mallorca until the 3rd of February to complete their first training camp
