Gilles Borra won the third stage of the Arden Challenge. After a difficult preparation for him due to illness, the pieces of the puzzle finally fell into place.

The early breakaway came after seven kilometres. Nine riders were in the breakaway, including two of our own riders: Jorre Debaele and Gilles Borra. The peloton kept the escapees within striking distance. The gap varied between 30 seconds and a maximum of 1 minute 40. With the final hills in sight, the peloton was closing in fast. Spurred on by a strong Jorre, the breakaway riders still had hope of playing for the win. Gilles saw his chance and with a strong attack in the last kilometre he held on to be the first to pass the finish line. Jorre himself finished fifth.

"I dedicate this victory to Filip, it's one for him today. The whole team had a tough time because of what happened, winning was the goal, especially with the strong team we had at the start." - Gilles Borra

After an earlier second place on day 2 by Thibaut Ponsaerts, our boys were able to continue the momentum.
